can be likened to water reservoirs, where the size of the water tank is a high
capacity, while the tube is the voltage. Capacitors are electronic components
that one belongs to the category of passive components. The function of the
capacitor greatly in need in the electronics component or electronic circuits.

has a fixed capacity and a capacitor that has a capacity that can be changed or
in other words the variable capacitor.

has properties that can not flow through the dc (direct current) and can be
passed ac current (alternating current) and can also function as an impedance
(resistance whose value depends on the frequency obtained) .
The
function of a capacitor in an electronic circuit is a coupling, a phase
shifter, a filter on the power supply circuit, the frequency generator and an
oscillator circuit is also used to prevent sparks on a switch.
The
workings of the capacitor in a circuit is the flow of electrons to the capacitor.
when the capacitor has been filled with electrons, the voltage will naturally
change. Then, electrons will be out of a capacitor and flows into the circuits
that need it. Thus, the capacitor will generate reactive circuit.
But can
not deny, though the capacitors components have different shapes and sizes, but
the function of the capacitor continues sorely in need in the electronics
component or electronic circuits.
Computers also use capacitors. For example, a type of computer keyboard has capacitors at the bottom of its keys, as shown in the picture below. Every key is connected to a movable plate which acts as the first plate of a capacitor; the fixed plate at the bottom of the keyboard acts as the second plate of the capacitor. When a key is pressed, the distance between the upper plate (the moving plate) and the bottom plate (the fixed plate) changes from about 5 mm to about 0.3 mm. the deduction in the separation distance between the plates causes an increase in capacity. The external electronic circuits recognize every key based on its capacity when the key is pressed. Therefore, the information carried by the key will go into the computer.
